For Windows 7:
1. Click Start, right-click Computer and click Properties.
2. Click the System protection link in the left pane.
3. In the System protection options, select each drive letter and click Configure.
4. Select Turn off system protection and click Apply.
5. Click Delete, click Continue when prompted and then click OK.

Turn Windows Features Off
1Click “Start.”
2Click “Control Panel.”
3Click “Programs and Features.”
4Click “Turn Windows Features on or off.”
5Click to clear the checked boxes next to any program in this window that you don’t want running use and click “OK.” This will turn off these features, removing them from your computer and decreasing the file size of the ‘System32″ folder.
